Startup Saturday is an initiative by Headstart to provide entrepreneurs in each city with a monthly community driven forum that is structured in agenda but open in discussions. A Startup Saturday provides a forum for entrepreneurs to discuss, present, network and learn from peers, prospective customers, adopters, partners and investors.

The fundamental idea is to have all parts of the innovation ecosystem interact with each other with high frequency and through rich conversation. We strongly believe that this would lead to faster evolution of the entire ecosystem.

Delhi is going to have its maiden event of Startup Saturday scheduled on December 13, 2008 at American Center, KG Marg, New Delhi.

Update : Next event of Startup Saturday Delhi will be held on February 14, 2009 from 2pm till 6pm at the American Center in New Delhi.

Registrations are now open for Startup Saturday Delhi. Security will be tight so anyone interested in attending, should register in advance. All attendees should also bring photo id with them. Attendees will not be allowed into the building without photo id.

    Startup Saturday Delhi will not be held in January as HeadStart is holding HeadStart 2009 & Compute in Bangalore on the 9th and 10th of January.

    We’re sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused but Startup Saturday Delhi will resume in February at the American Center. We look forward to seeing you then!

    Hi,

    My name is Manish – I am an engineer, and an entrepreneur.

    We have started a Business Incubator in Delhi aimed at providing a common workplace to startups, in a dynamic environment inhabited by other exciting startups. The idea is to:
    * spread costs,
    * help improve business image,
    * take away hassles to allow focus on core business,
    * provide opportunities for network and collaborate.

    I’ve uploaded a business side presentation at http://bit.ly/BusinessIncubator.

    I would appreciate if you can share your comments, and spread the word to help the startups benefit.

    Regards,
    Manish
